Home Ownership Matters - Public Awareness Campaign

There’s a reason home ownership is called the American Dream. People aspire to home ownership for the financial and social benefits it conveys. Our government supports home ownership because it’s good for communities and the nation’s economy.
In 2012, the Public Awareness Campaign continues to remind consumers that home ownership not only benefits families, it also helps build strong communities and creates jobs. For the first time in generations, the American dream of homeownership is being threatened. We need to keep housing first on the nation’s public policy agenda, because housing and home ownership issues affect all Americans, and “Future Generations” reinforces NAR’s commitment to doing just that.
"Future Generations" is now running as part of the national media buy and includes TV and radio ads, with online and print ads to come.

REALTOR® Pride
After
more than a decade of Public Awareness Campaign advertising, the National
Association of REALTORS® has established the clear value and differentiation of
REALTORS® in the minds of potential home buyers and sellers. As a result, more
than three out of four consumers would choose a REALTOR® to buy or sell a home
rather than a real estate professional who is not a REALTOR®.
One of the easiest ways to distinguish yourself as a
REALTOR® is to wear your REALTOR® pin. Tell them. Show them. Wear your REALTOR® pin with pride.
