LIBOR Names 2007 REALTOR®-Salesperson of the Year Liz English

December, 2007 – West Babylon, NY - The Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. (LIBOR) is pleased to announce that REALTOR® Liz English of Netter Real Estate in West Islip has been named the recipient of the prestigious REALTOR ®-Salesperson of the Year award.  The announcement was made recently at the association’s Annual Installation and Awards Dinner held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

Liz English joined LIBOR in 1986 and has been a real estate professional for 23 years.  She has been with Netter Real Estate in West Islip for 22 years and as broker/owner Jim Netter so eloquently puts it, “Liz has won the trust and respect of hundreds of her customers, as the majority of her business is generated by referrals from past clients. The accolades regarding Liz have always poured into the company. Liz’s neighbors, friends and colleagues depend on her wit, candor and wealth of experience for an informed opinion on all aspects of real estate.”

On the Chapter level, Liz has served the Suffolk South Shore Chapter as President in 2002, Vice President in 2001 and has served on the Suffolk South Shore Chapter Board of Directors since 1998.  She has also served on countless committees throughout the years.  One way Liz supports LIBOR is by her enthusiastic participation in and attendance at so many other chapter meetings and events, she donates much of her time and energy.  Liz has held the office of LIBOR Suffolk Vice President for 2005, 2006 and 2007.  In 2008, she will be serving as LIBOR Secretary. 

On the State level, Liz serves on the New York Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) Board of Directors since 2004 and is also a member of the NYSAR Professional Standards and Legislative Committees. On the National level, Liz has been attending National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) meetings since 2001 and recently served on their Research Committee.
           
Liz resides in West Islip with her loving husband Ron and their latest new addition, a Sphinx kitten named “Georgie Girl.”
