Selwyn is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Broker active for more than 25 years, and during that time has been involved in providing instruction to many, from those first seeking to obtain a Salesperson’s license to the seasoned real estate veteran.
Selwyn has taught technology classes for the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) and the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island (MLSLI) since the early days of transition from printed/paper distribution of listing information to the initial computer access environment to the present, New" Stratus.
He has also provided instruction for the provider of Multiple Listing platforms to other metropolitan area counties as well as several New York area Real Estate schools offering Real Estate Sales/Brokerage & Appraisal licensing and continuing education training.
Along the way, Selwyn was part of the New York City Teaching Fellows program and taught public (elementary) school for 5 years in Kings County (Brooklyn).
In addition, Selwyn has served as a Director on the Boards of both LIBOR and MLSLI, served on various committees and as the Treasurer and President of the Jamaica-Central Queens Chapter of LIBOR.
Selwyn is continually inspired by the lightbulb moments when his students get it, and in having the opportunity to enhance their use of the many tools corralled by LIBOR/MLSLI for the advancement of their Real Estate careers.
