75-hour NY Salesperson License Qualifying Course in New York

Please read the following important course information prior to registering for this course.
 

The tuition fee for the 75-hour online salesperson qualifying pre-license course is $325.  Although a textbook is not required, you can purchase the course textbook, Modern Real Estate Practices in NY 10th edition for an additional fee of $35.00 + shipping either online here or contact any of our Board offices to purchase.

Course Completion
 

Students who enroll must complete the course within one year from date of purchase. Any uncompleted course work after one year of purchase date is void and student would be subject to full tuition to reactivate and begin again.

Students must successfully complete this course by passing with a minimum grade of 70%. The Long Island Board of Realtors® is required to report successful course completions to the Department of State, Division of Licensing in the state of NY prior to the student sitting for the New York state exam. Students will be required to sign an online course affidavit during their proctored final exam stating they solely have completed the online course and they are taking the final school exam. 

 
Refunds
 

Once a student purchases this course, no refunds or credits will be given.

Supplemental Materials
 

This is a self contained online course. Although the course textbook is not a required purchase, LIBOR does offer it as a supplementary resource and study guide along with other exam prep materials which may be purchased by clicking here.

 
School Exam
 

The exam for this course is a proctored exam which means students must take the exam in person. The student will have up to 3 hours to complete the exam. Students have a total of two (2) separate attempts to pass the school’s final exam; students failing the end of course exam a second time will be required to pay for and complete the entire course again should they wish to continue.  Students will be required to bring a government issued picture ID to the proctored exam site.

AAll exams must be administered by a proctor within the state of New York.  The Long Island Board of Realtors offers the proctored final exam at the following locations:

Students who register and pay for the online course may be able to review specific classroom based topic(s), subject to Director of Education approval. However, students who wish to completely transfer to a classroom delivery licensing course will be subject to an additional fee and schedule availability. 

Students must recognize that distance learning requires a great amount of motivation and dedication. In many cases students will find that distance learning is a more difficult method of study as compared to classroom based education.
