Realtor® Recognition Awards Presented at
Appreciation Breakfast
December 1, 2005 - West Babylon, NY - The Long Island Board of REALTORS® and
the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island hosted an Appreciation
Breakfast on Tuesday, November 8th at the Milleridge Carriage House.
The event provides the forum for both organizations to recognize and
pay tribute to Realtor® members who have volunteered their time
and service in leadership roles during the past year.
Immediately following a light and humorous presentation entitled “The
Magic of Making a Difference” provided by speaker Jim Snack,
recognition gifts were presented to all 2005 LIBOR/MLS outgoing Officers
and Directors, and all 2005 Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs.
This year’s program included something special. Recognition
awards were presented to four outstanding Realtors® who were named
the recipients of the following 2005 awards:
2005 LICN Member of the Year ~ Gail Gladstone

2005 WCR Member of the Year ~ Muriel Schwartzapfel
Presented by: Bettie Meinel, 2004 recipient
2005 TASSO Award ~ Joe Canfora
Presented by: Tony Smith, 2004 recipient
2005 RPAC Achievement Award ~ Pat Levitt
Presented by: Audrey Livingstone, past recipient
