LIBOR Names 2006 REALTOR®-Salesperson of the Year
Mary Fudens
December 2006 - West Babylon, NY - The
Long Island Board of Realtors, Inc. (LIBOR) is pleased to announce that
Realtor® Mary
Fudens of RE/MAX North Shore in Huntington has been named the recipient
of the prestigious Realtor-Salesperson of the Year award. The announcement
was made recently at the association’s Annual Installation & Awards Dinner
held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
Mary joined LIBOR in 1988 where she has continuously been an active
member. She has always worked in Huntington and is currently associated
with RE/MAX North Shore.
On the chapter level, Mary has served the Huntington
Township Chapter as a Director for 15 years, Treasurer for 6 years, Vice
President for 3 years and has currently been the President for 2005 & 2006.
In 2006, Mary’s chapter held a fashion show to benefit Huntington Hospital’s
Women’s Heart Center where they raised over $10,000.
On the LIBOR level, Mary served on several committees including Board
of Directors, Housing Opportunity, RPAC, Legislative, Commission Escrow
Act, Nominating Committee and Public Relations. She is also an active
member of the LI Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors and the Long Island Commercial
Network. On the State level, Mary has served on the NYSAR Board of Directors
since 2002.
Prior to Mary career in real estate, she attended the St. Joseph’s School of
Nursing and was a practicing nurse until her 3 children, Garth, Lisa and Leslie
came along.
