Realtors® Wanted to Spare Some Time and Strike Out Diabetes.
Realtor Rumble Bowl-a-Thon Promises to be a Ball!

October 2006 - West Babylon, NY - We’re More Than Just Realtors, so, if you are a Realtor®, we want you. The annual “Realtor Rumble” bowl-a-thon will take place on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Syosset Lanes in Syosset, New York. The afternoon will include unlimited bowling, raffles and prizes, with funds earmarked for the Diabetes Foundation of Long Island for diabetes research.

The fun-filled Realtor® event is being presented by the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) courtesy of the LIBOR Public Relations Committee. This event is one of many Realtor® events that support the Realtor® Spirit theme which focuses on the support that Realtors provide to local nonprofit organizations and efforts within the Long Island community. “We’re definitely more than Realtors®! We care about Long Island and its future,” explains Gil Picard, President of LIBOR. “Realtors® are incredible individuals who find time in their busy schedules to support their local communities by volunteering to make a difference. As part of those efforts, each year the Long Island Board of Realtors’ community comes together for an annual Realtor Rumble, drawing individuals from the Realtor® community and related industries from all over Long Island. As a group, we are committed to giving back to the communities where we serve by supporting local charities,” he continued.

The fun-filled event will feature media personality Donna Donna and the WBAB Street Team who will be at the event for the afternoon and will broadcast a live call-in. In addition, WBAB will provide plenty of great and exciting prizes to those in attendance.
