July 2007 - West Babylon, NY - The Long Island
Board of Realtors® (LIBOR) has donated $7,005 to support The Hagedorn
Little Village School in Seaford. The check was recently presented
to the school by Linda Bonarelli, President of the Long Island Board
of Realtors®. Funds were raised during LIBOR’s 19th Annual
Education Conference and Trade Show which was coordinated by LIBOR’s
Education Committee, chaired by Moses Seuram. The Education
Conference and Trade Show is one of the largest combined Conference and
Trade Shows that takes place here on Long Island with hundreds of Realtors
from all over Long Island in attendance.
During the check presentation Linda Bonarelli stated, “We are
very proud to be able to support the work of The Hagedorn Little Village
School towards improving the quality of life for children with developmental
disabilities and their families. Our members know how important
it is to provide family support services, case management, residential
programs and educational opportunities for children with special needs. The
Hagedorn Little Village School has an excellent reputation of providing
quality programs and services to the community and we are very pleased
to help them further their mission and important work.”
The donation provided by LIBOR represents one of many initiatives from
the organization’s “We’re More Than Just Realtors” campaign
coordinated by
LIBOR and their Public Relations Committee. The campaign showcases
the support real estate agents provide to the local community and to
not-for-profit and charitable organizations. “Realtors
are more than just trained professionals selling homes and properties,” said
Linda Bonarelli. “We’re about building communities,
supporting our neighborhoods, and recognizing those people and organizations
that make our communities special places to live, work and play.”
