This course addresses the relationship between Real Estate and other matters of concern when settling the estate of a deceased party.

Topics include the following:

Do I still have a listing if the owner dies?

If the owner was in contract, is the estate still bound to sell the property to that buyer?

What happens if there is a Will?

What happens if there is no Will?

Does it matter if the real property is held in a Trust?

Who can sell the real estate of the deceased?

What happens if a Will is contested?

What is the value of the real estate to the parties left behind?

What is probate?

What is an Administrative Proceeding?

How can a broker protect a commission when dealing with an estate?

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.”
