Description

Purchasers may not want to work with a seller’s agent preferring an agent that acts on behalf of the buyers’ best interests. Licensees desiring to represent these buyers can promote their services and competitive differences in the marketplace. While buyer’s agents owe their client the fiduciary duties described in the NY agency disclosure form, a buyer and agent can also specify and clarify further rights and responsibilities through a binding agreement that stipulates the obligations and expectations of all parties involved. With effective counseling and communication, licensees can provide buyers assistance, analysis, advice and advocacy delivering a mindful experience the consumer anticipates and deserves.

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition.LIBOR reserves the right to cancel class if minimum enrollments is not met. If LIBOR needs to cancel or delay a class due to inclement weather or emergency, information will be posted on Stratus by 7:00 am and also on our automated voice mail message system on 631-661-4800, also by 7:00 am

Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses

LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.

Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.”
