In 2019, as a Graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy, Dave petitioned NAR’s Lead- ership Team to create a REALTOR® Safety Advisory Committee and was appointed its first Chairperson for 2020. He is also the Education Chairperson and a Board of Direc- tor with the Beverly Carter Foundation whose mission is dedicated to improving agent safety. Dave also co-authored an agent safety book named, “Safe Selling: A Practical Guide for Preventing Crime without Sacrificing the Sale.” He is the 2021 NYS Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) President and was the 2017 Long Island Board of REALTORS® President and their REALTOR® of the Year in 2014. Dave has been a NAR Director since 2013 and a NYSAR Director since 2012.
