We're More Than REALTORS®...
The “We’re More Than REALTORS®…”(WMTR) public relations campaign was created by the Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. (LIBOR) Public Relations committee in 2006. The goal of the campaign is to raise public awareness about the REALTOR® efforts in our community, in addition to helping local residents buy and sell homes. Each year, through the WMTR campaign LIBOR members dedicate their time and effort to support numerous programs and charitable organizations in need; helping to make Long Island a better place to live.

Are you or someone you know doing great work serving the community? We want to hear about it! The Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. REALTORS® Against Hunger
The Long Island Board of Realtors® will be running its 10th Annual Realtors® Against Hunger (RAH) campaign, to fight hunger in our local communities and we are asking for your help, once again. The food drive program is an initiative created by the LIBOR Public Relations Committee in an effort to support the ongoing "We're More Than Realtors®…" campaign; which supports numerous programs and charitable organizations that are making a positive difference in our communities. Long Island Realtors® will be collecting donations of non perishable food items from October 1st – December 31st at various real estate offices throughout Nassau, Suffolk and Queens, in an effort to provide food to hundreds of local food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs that feed the hungry. Additionally, all the Realtor® Service Centers will be serving as collection points for members to make donations during this time.
Hopefully the RAH program will collect enough food to really make an impact and help fill the sparse shelves of our local food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. Perhaps you could support the food drive by promoting it at your next event and asking Realtors® to bring non-perishable food items to your next meeting? If you would like to get involved with the RAH program, please contact Christina at 631-661-4800 ext. 358 for more information. The Public Relations Committee appreciates your support
