Effective July 1, 2021, all licensees must complete 7.5 hours of REQUIRED CORE topics as part of their 22.5 hour of NYS CE credits in order to renew their license.

* Legal Update 1 hour - At least one hour of instruction pertaining to recent legal matters governing the practice of real estate brokers and salespersons in NY which may include statutes, laws, regulations, rules, codes, department of state opinions and decisions, and court decisions.

* Fair Housing—3 hours-Knowledge of regulations which guide our profession for the good of all and doing the right thing by you, your customers and clients and fellow agents is essential for agents’ success. This course will look at the BIG picture of the various rules, regulations and requirements of our profession and how they must be followed.

* Ethical Business Practice-2.5 hours- The sale and purchase of a home is one of the most significant events that any person will experience in his or her lifetime. It is more than the simple purchase of housing, for it includes the hopes, dreams, aspirations, and economic destiny of those involved. We will focus on how all parties benefit when licensees focus on and apply Ethical Business Practices in their daily business to better serve the consumer.

* Law of Agency 1 hour – A review of agency law, and how it affects licensee’s business.

Cancellation Policy for LIBOR courses:

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. NO REFUNDS if cancellation is less than 3 business days, instead Education Credit will be issued for use within one year of cancellation. Students who do not show for class will LOSE entire tuition. LIBOR reserves the right to cancel class if minimum enrollments is not met. Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses

If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.

Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.
