Ethical and Ageny Issues PART 1: AGENCY Description: How comfortable are you in knowing how and when to present Agency Disclosure to consumers? Do you stumble through the Agency Disclosure form and wish you had a better understanding and better, smoother scripting? This 1 hour segment will review the various agency relationships we create and how to define and describe them to our real estate prospects and how to handle “switching hats.” PART 2: ETHICS Description: This 2 ½ hour segment is designed to fulfill the Ethics training required by DOS and by the National Association of REALTORS®. The program includes ethical theories, common ethical challenges in the real estate field, enforcement and resolution processes, and “best practices” through review of the NAR Pathways to Professionalism. Special emphasis is placed on commonly misunderstood areas in the NAR Code of Ethics as well as some of the newest Standards of Practice that many agents don’t seem to know about at all.
