Long Island Board of REALTORS® Leadership Academy

Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) Leadership Academy is a ten-month immersive program designed to identify, develop, and inspire emerging leaders for future volunteer leadership roles within the REALTOR® association and the communities they serve. LIBOR members who have demonstrated leadership potential, are committed to professional excellence, and are passionate about the real estate industry are encouraged to apply.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to take part in this exclusive program, gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become effective leaders within LIBOR and their communities. Through a comprehensive look at LIBOR’s operations, governance, advocacy, and programs, participants will build a strong foundation for future leadership and continued involvement in the Association.

By investing in the next generation of leaders, the Leadership Academy helps ensure LIBOR remains a dynamic, forward-thinking association, equipped to serve its members and shape the future of the profession.

Each Leadership Academy session consists of ten LIBOR members who will begin their journey together and cultivate lasting relationships while developing, enhancing, and honing their leadership skills for future collaboration. Members will work on team-based projects, attend LIBOR events together, engage in field assignments, and interact with industry experts to help maximize their leadership potential.
