REALTOR® Safety Alert: Beware of Fraudster Posing as Licensee

Oct 23, 2021, 01:02 AM by Matrix Super Admin

It has been brought to our attention that a fraudster may be posing as a licensee based in New Jersey attempting to schedule showings. The fraudster telephones the listing office and requests assistance with scheduling the appointment through the electronic showing system and provides the name, phone number, and company name of a legitimate agent.

It is recommended you confirm the identity of any agent who contacts your office by telephone asking for assistance in scheduling a showing using an electronic showing system.

Visit www.LIRealtor.com/safety for comprehensive safety information, tips, and instructions on how to access the Real Safe Agent app for free (a LIBOR member benefit).
