After completion of this course, please follow the steps below to complete the designation process:
• Successful completion of one of the ABR® elective courses. Note: this course may be taken prior to completing the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) Designation Course.
• Submit the application verifying five (5) completed transactions in which you acted solely as a buyer's representative (no dual agency).
• Maintain active and good membership status in the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Full refund will be issued if cancellation is made 3 or more business days prior to class. If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.
A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.

This course will provide Licensees with an extensive knowledge of co-ops. It will examine the definition of a co-op and how shares are allocated. The course will review the process of buying and selling a co-op and what licensees, buyers and sellers must know. It will identify the documents needed in a co-op sale and the board interview process. The course will describe any legislation that affects the co-op transaction.
