The Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation is the premier global real estate credential offered by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). It recognizes real estate professionals who have the knowledge, experience, and network to work successfully with international clients and properties. To earn the designation, students are required to complete 2 CORE classes and 3 elective courses. Obtaining the CIPS designation positions agents as experts in cross-border transactions, providing them with exclusive resources, a worldwide referral network, and a competitive edge in the global marketplace.
CIPS: Transaction Tools is one of the two prerequisites for the CIPS Designation. This course equips students with the skills to present investment information to international clients tailored to their currency and region. The course covers measuring investment performance, preparing financial projections and understanding the impact of taxes and exchange rates on investments.
