About Karen A Striegl

I am honored to have served our Long Island community as a Real Estate Broker and Realtor for over 43 years. Most of my career involved leadership in new home sales and marketing management as Vice President of both mid-sized and larger, National building concerns. Although I began my formal career as a high school Spanish teacher with a BA in Hispanic Language and Literature, I pursued real estate as early as 1979 because the construction process fascinated me. My mentor and CEO at the Strathmore Organization, the late Alfred Barone, coached me into a male dominated profession by providing formal education and hands on training in the field during home construction. I am ever grateful for his faith in me over many successful, award winning years. I parlayed my teaching skill set into mentoring new Sales Agents and public speaking for companies who were interested in professional, fundamental sales training. 2017, 2019, 2020 & 2021 honored me with nominations for Lifetime Achievement in real estate by our Long Island Board of Realtors.
