Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR), a leading trade association for real estate professionals across Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties, proudly hosted its 38th Annual Education Conference & Trade Show June 10, 2026, at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, N.Y.
The premier industry event welcomed nearly 700 real estate professionals, brokers, industry leaders, exhibitors, and educators for a day of professional development, networking, and insight into the evolving real estate landscape. Centered around the theme “Elevate,” the conference provided attendees with actionable strategies, emerging technologies, legal updates, and business-building opportunities.
“LIBOR is more than an association – it’s a resource to help real estate professionals thrive in a rapidly changing industry,” said Doreen Spagnuolo, CEO of LIBOR. “Now, more than ever, we must be informed and connected to stay competitive.
A highlight of the day was a “Fireside Chat” luncheon, with National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) President Kevin Brown, Inman Chief Editorial Director Jim Dalrymple, Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman, Co-Founder and CEO of NextHome Inc. James Dwiggins, and a panel of top-producing real estate professionals and industry leaders discussing trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of real estate.
The conference also welcomed New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) President Ron Garafalo, who was on hand throughout the day as members signed Code of Ethics pledges, reaffirming their commitment to the professional standards that distinguish REALTORS® from other real estate practitioners. With presidents representing the national, state, and local associations in attendance, the event highlighted the strong leadership and collaboration that support the REALTOR® profession at every level. LIBOR members automatically become part of NAR and NYSAR, a federated structure that connects REALTORS® to advocacy, education, market data, legal guidance, technology tools, and professional resources at the local, state, and national levels.
“LIBOR’s Education Conference continues to be one of the most valuable opportunities for our members to invest in their professional growth while strengthening connections across the industry,” said LIBOR President Shaan Khan. “From artificial intelligence and brokerage innovation to legal guidance and market insights, this year’s conference delivered the knowledge and resources REALTORS® need to elevate their businesses and better serve their clients.”
Attendees participated in a diverse lineup of educational sessions, including nationally recognized real estate growth expert Matthew Ferrara’s keynote, “Unlocking AI: Intelligent Guide for REALTORS®,” which explored practical applications of AI in marketing, operations, client service, and transaction management.
