Long Island Board of REALTORS® Achieves Diamond Commercial Services Accreditation from NAR

Nov 9, 2023

Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) has been awarded the Diamond Commercial Services Accreditation by National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in recognition of its commitment to providing exceptional commercial services to members, engaging commercial practitioners, and being the voice for commercial real estate in the local market.

Introduced in 2008, NAR's Commercial Services Accreditation program empowers real estate associations to enhance their commercial offerings and cultivate strong relationships with commercial members. Undergoing significant improvements in 2022, the program introduced three recognition levels: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, accompanied by an annual recertification process.

LIBOR has not only embraced but excelled in this revamped accreditation program. Achieving the Diamond level required the Association to meet and surpass a minimum of 41 benchmarks, signifying its outstanding dedication to serving the commercial real estate sector.

As part of this distinguished achievement, LIBOR has been awarded a $1,000 Scholarship, earmarked for the continued expansion of commercial services at the board.

"The attainment of Diamond-Level Commercial Services Accreditation is a remarkable achievement for LIBOR, highlighting our dedication to supporting and advancing the commercial real estate sector in our community," said Gina Marie Bettenhauser, LIBOR President. “LIBOR is honored to receive this recognition and remains steadfast in our commitment to delivering outstanding services to our valued commercial members.”
