• Long Island attracts international buyers and investors, making global awareness essential for REALTORS^®. New York captured 7% of all foreign buyer purchases last year, ranking it in the top 4 destinations sought by international clients.
• Understanding global trends and cross-border practices keeps you competitive in a diverse market. Nearly half of foreign buyers paid all cash, a segment able to act quickly and decisively in premium price ranges.
• Building international connections opens doors to new opportunities, referrals, and long-term business growth. Eighteen percent of foreign buyers purchased properties worth over $1 million last year, and almost half sought vacation or rental properties, signaling strong demand for higher-end and income-producing real estate.
