Experience History, Inspire Tolerance: A Visit to the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center

Join LIBOR for a moving and educational afternoon at the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Glen Cove, NY.

This special event offers members the opportunity to engage with powerful exhibits, hear firsthand testimony from a Holocaust survivor, and reflect on the importance of tolerance, human rights, and standing against hate in all its forms.

Event Schedule:

12:00 PM – Arrival, Welcome, and Food Reception
12:45 PM – Guided Museum Tour through seven thought-provoking galleries
2:00 PM – Survivor Testimony and Q&A Session
3:00 PM – Departure

The HMTC experience is immersive, emotional, and deeply informative. Through original artifacts, photographs, and narratives, visitors will explore the history and enduring lessons of the Holocaust — and gain a greater understanding of how to promote respect, empathy, and inclusion in our communities.
