Nassau Assemblymember Announces for State Senate

State Assemblymember Taylor Darling confirmed to City & State plans to run for the open 6th State Senate District in central Nassau – including Garden City, Hempstead, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Freeport, Uniondale, East Meadow, and Westbury. Darling was first elected in 2018, representing Hempstead, Uniondale, and much of Freeport in the Assembly. Current State Senator Kevin Thomas (D-Levittown) is barred by a residency issue from running for reelection and instead is seeking the Democratic nomination to take on U.S. Representative Anthony D’Esposito (R-Island Park).
