Tom Suozzi Launches Congress Comeback to Replace Santos

Former Nassau County Executive and 3-term U.S. Representative Tom Suozzi (D-Glen Cove) is once again running for the 3rd Congressional District. The North Shore of Nassau and Northeast Queens are currently represented by indicted U.S. Representative George Santos, a Republican. The former mayor of Glen Cove, Suozzi, left the House to place third in the 2022 Democratic primary for governor. Former State Senator Anna Kaplan and activist Zak Malamed are two other leading Democrats, while Republicans have been coalescing behind retired NYPD detective and TV analyst Mike Sapraicone.
