Volunteers Needed for REALTOR® Volunteer Build Days, June 5 & 18

In recognition of National Homeownership Month and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) 2024 REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors Volunteer Week, LIBOR is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Long Island and Rebuilding Together Long Island to help build and repair homes in our local communities.

LIBOR will be hosting two LI REALTOR® Volunteer opportunities:

Wednesday, June 5 – Habitat for Humanity of Long Island home construction, from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, in western Suffolk County, 15 volunteers (skilled and unskilled labor) are needed. 

Tuesday, June 18 – Rebuilding Together Long Island wheelchair ramp build at a private residence in Massapequa from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, 10 volunteers (skilled and unskilled labor)  are needed. 

Stay tuned for a Queens volunteer opportunity this summer!

No construction experience is necessary. Both organizations have knowledgeable site supervisors, and volunteer crew leaders who will lead you in building!
