Landmark Housing Affordability Legislation Signed Into Law

A major bipartisan housing package, the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, has officially been signed into law. The legislation—a sweeping package of nearly 50 individual housing measures designed to increase housing supply, improve affordability, expand access to homeownership, strengthen housing finance and support veterans—marks the culmination of one of the National Association of REALTORS®' (NAR) largest coordinated advocacy campaigns in recent years. Over nearly two years, REALTOR® members worked alongside NAR’s advocacy team to make housing a national priority.
