Review the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of REALTORS® and state on the Ethics Complaint Form the Article(s) you believe have been violated. Your complaint must include one or more Articles of the Code of Ethics which you allege have been violated.
Your complaint should include a clear, concise narrative of the circumstances that lead you to believe the Code of Ethics may have been violated.
Scroll down to the Ethics Complaint Form Submissionsection below, provide your contact information, upload i) your completed Ethics Complaint Form; and
ii) your typed narrative and any other supporting documentation, and click “SUBMIT.”
You may also submit the completed Ethics Complaint Form and all attachments, including your narrative, via email to psc@lirealtor.com.
Ethics Complaints must be filed with the Long Island Board of REALTORS®, Inc. (LIBOR) within one hundred eighty (180) days from the time a complainant knew, or reasonably should have known, that potentially unethical conduct took place, or within
one hundred eighty (180) days after the conclusion of the transaction.
Make certain to include the date when the alleged violation took place so the Grievance Committee can determine if the request is filed on time.
Make certain to state your involvement or connection to the complaint. All appropriate parties should be named.
